On behalf of our friend, Margaret, Jan and I want to thank Andy, Tom and Debby for their generosity to my project of getting Margaret set up with a laptop system and internet. Also thanks go to those who gave me advice on what type of IP to chose. Since Margaret doesn't have cable I chose DSL. After much research I was able to find basic service for $10 per month. If UPS delivers quickly, I hope to have her up and running on the internet with property security, etc. She won't need a printer, since she can either email files to us or save them to a memory stick and give it to us when we see her (several times a week).

Margaret is one of those people who is a pleasure to offer a helping hand. Even though she has to use a walker much of the time, she does what she can to be independent. She's great with kids, and my grandson, Austin really loves "Miss Margaret." We're very excited to surprise with your generosity. This is a great club!
