He then told me that he has heard that a lot and he had a theory that was growing among the employees.

His opinion was that the Riv might be trying to lose revenue at the same time they are spending money renovating. He believes that they will try and file bankrupsy and then reopen again after they emerge without the debt that they once had.

Just a thoery, but it is starting to make more and more sense.
