There are so many of these talks that fill my life with wonder. I have watched at least 80 of them and still find this site captivating. There are speakers that talk for 20 minutes and at the end I still do not know what they said but their subject was offered with passion. There are many that I like, so it is hard to give you a starter. Some are very serious but the one I have linked is light hearted and on card magic. Explore the site at your own rate. I truly can not get enough of TED.

Inspired talks by the world's greatest thinkers and doers.

TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds.

TED's mission: Spreading ideas.

They believe passionately in the power of ideas to change attitudes, lives and ultimately, the world. So they are building a clearinghouse that offers free knowledge and inspiration from the world's most inspired thinkers, and also a community of curious souls to engage with ideas and each other.
