Why take away from the athletes' moment and blur it with the government's policy.

The way I look at it is if our president and other world leaders took part by attending the games w/o protesting the government, that's all that should really matters to the athleets.

Why do so many of us push them aside in order to make a point as to how China rules?

This was each athlet's moment; I do not think we should have ruined it by showing the poverty that goes on outside of the arena and expressing why that poverty exists.
