Agreed - I for one was very impressed by the show that the Chinese put on.
That LCD screen that they had going around the stadium looked awesome (wish I was there to see it in person) as well as the one they used on the stadium floor during the opening ceremonies. The building architecture was very cool too. That's bird's nest stadium and pool cube were very cool designs.

London has a tall task in front of them. That will be a hard one to follow.

I hope it opened a lot of eyes here in America of what China is capable of when they put their resources to it. It was a big eye-opener for me. It worries me that most of the world's technology is being developed and manufactured in Asia and not here in the states. God forbid there is ever another global conflict. It should be of great concern for all of us because of our dependency on oil and technology from other countries.
