I honestly have NO idea how any of this would work...BUT...
What would be the prospects of a class action suit against the NJCCC over the Playboy chip fiasco.
It may not sound like much but I paid $75 each for my $5 and $2.50 chips that I bought during a Club auction at the Trop 6-7 years ago. What are they "worth" today? Pity those who paid thousands for the higher denominations. When you multiply that by the hundreds? of collectors who paid higher dollars for these chips you would have a tidy sum. Was their steep decline in value due to any negligence on the part of the NJCCC? Is there a gray area that would legally prohibit us from buying and selling chips outside of the casino? Is this a can of worms no one would want to open?
