Abortion in and of itself would not be the sole deciding factor concerning who I might vote for. Born alive is quite a different matter. As an Illinois State Senator, Barack Obama opposed passage of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act three years in a row. This act would provide for medical care for babies who survive abortions. They are literally born, breathing viable human beings that are allowed to die after they are born due to induced labor unsuccessful abortions. Obama opposed this bill in committee the first time it was placed before the Illinois Senate in 2001, but when the bill came to a vote, he voted "present". When it was introduced and put to a vote again in 2002, he stepped up to the plate and voted against it. When it was presented for a third time in 2003, Obama was the chairman of the Illinois Health and Human Services Committee, and he blocked the bill from ever reaching the Senate floor for a vote.
This practice isn't abortion, it is infanticide. It is now rather obvious why Obama couldn't answer the question concerning when a baby has human rights in this country. His pay grade is that of one who thinks that living babies outside of the womb, if they get there during the course of a botched abortion, have no human rights and not only should, but must be allowed to die without life-sustaining medical care. The man has no conscience.
