P.O. Silvagni, who built the Apache Hotel in 1932 (or maybe 1931...too lazy to look it up)

The Arizona Club, on 1st Street. Opened in 1906, closed in the 1940's. It was a posh place, and a couple of the ladies clubs used to meet there in the early days. There was also a time that it was in the red light district, and another kind of 'lady' could be found there. As I recall, the huge (mahogony?) back bar from the Arizona Club was used at the Last Frontier.

I just think this is a cool old Reno postcard . The building on the left, at the base of the arch, is the Stag Inn. That's where Fitzgerald's is now.
