P.O. Silvagni, who built the Apache Hotel in 1932 (or maybe 1931...too lazy to look it up)

The Arizona Club, on 1st Street. Opened in 1906, closed in the 1940's. It was a posh place, and a couple of the ladies clubs used to meet there in the early days. There was also a time that it was in the red light district, and another kind of 'lady' could be found there. As I recall, the huge (mahogony?) back bar from the Arizona Club was used at the Last Frontier.

I just think this is a cool old Reno postcard grin . The building on the left, at the base of the arch, is the Stag Inn. That's where Fitzgerald's is now.

This was in the Boulder Club, now under part of Binion's

Here's a picture of Austin, Nevada. The Golden Club was also known as "Mom's"
