Has anyone had any experience with ioffer.com...

Although new to chip collecting, I have been a power seller on ebay for a few years and have found that summer sales are always poor. I usually just keep a few items out to keep my account active. I recently tried ioffer.com because there are no listing fees so I figured, I had nothing to lose by trying it.

I am hoping that some of the club members have had some experience with the site they'd like to share. So far, I have found:

Items I have purchased have gone well.

There are no actions, just buy it now and offers made on items.

Items stay listed until you take them down, offers on items are good only a few days.

They definitely do not have as much visibility as ebay.

They allow you to pull in your ebay listings and ratings, although I have not done so.

The "my ioffer" is not as user friendly as "my ebay".

Regarding ebay. I wouldn't have a problem with the paypal only if they would do something about the outrageous listing fees and the reversal of the listing fees on unpaid items.

I am hoping that the requiring of the paypal payments is going to force better screening of new ebay buyers as I have been stiffed many times. It may also stop sellers from opening more than one ebay account and bidding up their own items as they will now be forced to show the payment of the item through one of the accepted sources.
