Personal accounts ........
In Response To: PayPal Question ()

Everyone should have (at least) two PayPal accounts --

(1) a BUSINESS one for selling on eBay and accepting credit card-funded receipts, all of which entail fees paid by the recipient of the payments. Anything going into a Business PayPal account (credit card-funded and cash-funded) is charged a fee, except of course transfers from your bank to your PayPal account are not charged fees.;
(2) and a PERSONAL one that never will accept credit card-funded PayPal payments. No one pays fees on cash-funded PayPal payments GOING INTO A PERSONAL ACCOUNT.

Also, everyone buying things on the internet (including eBay) should ALWAYS pay for it (if practical) using your credit card so you can do a charge back if worse comes to worse. Example, all PayPal purchases for eBay auction wins should be paid with credit card-funded PayPal payments. Of course, transactions between friends should use the no credit card-no fees-personal account approach.

This is from a form of mine:
.. ....... ... (B) "FUNDING OPTIONS" FOR PAYPAL (PP) PAYMENTS -- there are four funding options for PP payments. Only the first one is credit card-funded. It is easy to select a particular funding method. Just look for the link "Change" near the "Payment Method" section on the PP "Send Money" page. The four funding options (methods) are:
(1) credit card-funded PP payments -- you must have a credit card linked to your PP account.
(2) PP balance PP payments -- can only be made if you have a balance in your PP account.
(3) eCheck PP payments -- can only be made if your PP account is linked to your bank account. The money is taken from your bank account to your PP account to my PP account.
(4) Instant Transfer PP payments -- can only be made if your PP account is linked to your bank account and credit card. (Instant Transfer PP payments are backed up by your credit card, not funded by your credit card.) The money is taken from your bank account to your PP account to my PP account.

(C) CONFIDENTIAL PERSONAL INFORMATION -- all four types of PP payments that I receive are from PayPal to me. I never know your bank account number or any other personal information.
