My lps are nearly all in top condition. My 45's vary, depending upon when I bought them! An example of 1 of the records would be the first (Rolling Rock) album by the Blasters (I know it was worth $90 at one time, but that was awhile ago). I have the first single and ep by the Bangles (before they put out their first album). I have all of the earliest cover sleeve U2 albums, with songs they have not yet put out on cd. I'm sure I have plenty of obscure bands, without huge followings (e.g. Carmaig DeForest, The Salvation Army (which had to change their name shortly after the first printing of their first lp), Blood on the Saddle, Zeitgeist (which became The Reivers, but my album still says Zeitgeist)). Most of the albums I still have, I kept because I figured I would never find them on cd or the record store I tried to sell them to in the 90's (when I moved to NY) wasn't interested in them. So, they are either tough to find or very easy. Not much in between. I still have 4.5 boxes of records and a (smaller) box of 7" records.
I'm really looking for the best method to sell them. Is ebay a good venue or a waste of time? It seems when I have looked for cds, that there are VERY few bids. As I said, I am in no rush, just looking for advice. I haven't even looked in 3 of the boxes, and was quite surprised by a number of albums in the first 2 (1 of which was the half-filled box).
