Sports are probably the last thing ever on my mind both consciously and subconsciously. I can't stand sporting events. But I'll respond to each of your comments...
1. I was not aware that every time someone linked rings it would remind someone of the Olympics. Not only do I have 6 instead of 5 but they are not all linked together.
2. The "mascot" is in fact a jester based on a design I first put together (but it was never used) in 2003. This chip was also designed in January of this year... long before any of the Olympic's characters were made available. The only similarity that I see is that one eye is a black dot and it has 2 arms and 2 legs.
3. The circles and dollar signs on the bottom are in fact the date 08-08-08.
You have me stumped as to how you can see any similarities at all.
