... but you had to have the coupon that was distributed only to those who pre-registered at the CC & GTCC Convention for that year and you had to go to Hard Rock with the CC & GTCC coupon to claim one... and by the end of the 3-day convention the Pink Taco chipswere virtually "unobtainable" and several convention dealers were offering to pay $75-$85 for one (including Skip).

Most of these non-value HR chips are currently housed in individual collections of those who attended the CC & GTCC Convention. There are quite a few NON-chip collectors who collect Hard Rock "stuff" who are still seeking out these Pink Taco chips in the ao-called, after-market.

On a similar note ... while not a Hard Rock issue; I'm surprised that the current "Good For $10" incentive chip that was distributed to those who pre-registered at this year's convention is not bringing a higher price on ebay. Not all of the 2008 incentive chips distributed to pre-registered club members were presented for redemption at dealer's tables, but were placed in collections ... and some of those chips that were used to purchase items at dealer tables were not turned into the club by the dealer for redemption. This fact; coupled with the destruction of the left-over quantities, or redeemed through the club, makes the 2008 CC & GTC incentive chip another tough one.
