Re: Why did you have to file a claim 4 times?

My claim was denied they say because I did not have enough proof of value. I had my emails from said buyer. I also had copies from my current price guide on strikes. My claim was for less than the guide prices. My local postmaster helped me and told me as I said before, you have to keep claiming. The people in the claims dept. acted like I was trying to take their paychecks, that's how I felt. After the fourth time it was finally paid. Nothing new was added because I did not have anything else I could add to establish value for them.

Side note: I have over the years mailed out 100's of packages with silver strikes in them. That was my first lost package and since then they have lost another. This second one I had tracking on it and it got lost between a 5 mile distance from one PO to another. It was not insured so that one I am out on. $80 strike. They say it could show up some day and maybe is sitting on a shelf someplace. My thoughts, yea, on someones shelf at their home.
