I lived not very far from Freedomland in the Bronx in 64' and went to Christopher Columber H.S. back in that year. My friends and I use to sneak into Freedomland all the time and stay for the performers and Murray the K show. The Shangri La's performed there frequently and I remember seeing Gene Pitney for the very first time, too. Sweet Memories!
