Clearly, I should have written this as a stand-alone thread and not in response to Ron. I didn't mean to denigrate him at all. I have NO reason to. I was discussing the practice of adding meaningless, often wrong puffery to sales pitches on the board. I really don't understand why sellers do it. That was my whole point. Sometimes, it just affects me negatively, and as a seller, I wouldn't want to be engaging in a practice that may be dissuading potential customers. But, it's a choice every seller has the right to make.
As I wrote from the beginning, I have never heard anything negative about Ron. I don't think his response to me was too friendly, but hey, I probably deserved it. I still wish him the best in his sales, both today and otherwise.
Once again, I apologize for making what looked like an attack on Ron Leis. It wasn't intended to be.
