Thanks John, not a day goes by that I'm not thinking of him. He was a good man, I had no idea how many people's heart were touched by him. I only hope that I could be at least half the man he was. He did liked his chinesse food, his favorite restaurant in PR is called Wah Seen, in Ave 65th Inf Km 3 Rio Piedras. Whenever he came to Chicago he liked going to Rodity's, in 222 Halsted, Chicago in Greektown. I always go there on his birthday, even today. Do you recall the Chinese restaurant name in Orlando, Int'l Drive, or where it was closed to? as I travel there frequently and will like to stop there. I'll be in Orlando 08/15-08/17. He did had a fascination with sugar packets, Sweet n Low or Equal were his favorites. He also loved bread. Every morning he will walk to the grocery store to buy 2 loaf of fresh bread, by the time he got back, he already had finished eating one! :-) Mom is doing ok, although her Alzheimer is very advanced, she doesn't remember me at all, in her mind she is a teenager and is re-living moments in her past. She doesn't recall being a mother, whenever I tell her I'm her son, she looks blank at me, she thinks I'm kidding her. She doesnt remember dad at all, or his passing, I guess thats good, but I feel that not also I lost my dad, but my mom too. Alzheimer is a terrible illness, robs you from your memory.
Again, thanks for the kind words.
