Michael, this is my reasoning...

You have asked or stated:

You stated "In my opinion, some things are best left to those who know what they are doing and have a responsibility."
What does that mean? It only means that some things are best left to the experts and those who have the responsibility entrusted to them to conduct such investigations. I was only asking for opinions as I didnt want to give the wrong info to the member in question. I personally would love to see both these members get theirs but this is not my fight. Michael, this makes it sound personal, at which point I have to be concerned about your intentions. It seems to me that not too long ago you were saying you were at the wrong end of certain accusations and jumping to conclusions, and having taken such exception to it, it seems a bit surprising that you APPEAR to be doing a similar thing here.

So, who is the best person with this responsibility you indicate? Inquiring minds want to know? I believe I said eBay, or the ccgtcc Claims Director, or both.

So far based on the response here and the many emails I have already received the concensus is to expose the members. I agree it is a slippery slope which is why I posted the question. Michael, the email messages you get mean nothing. They can be bravado, hostility, or any number of things and they mean nothing here because they are not backed up by names and content. And since there is only one post here that suggests exposure (along with filing a complaint via eBay) it makes me question the actual commentary of the messages you have received and how you have interpreted those messages.

He will most likely after our conversation do all 3. First file a claim with eBay, then when he finishes with eBay file a claim with the club and if all else fails post here on the board. Your commentary is saying that regardless of what ebay does, to include a finding of no culpability, and regardless of what the ccgtcc Claim process results in, including a finding of no culpability, this person is already pre-disposed to try this in a public forum? This smacks of these individuals already being tried and convicted in someone's mind and perhaps this thread is an attempt to rabble-rouse some support for a lynching?

Sorry Michael, the only course of action, in my mind, is the eBay process and/or the ccgtcc Claims process. Only in the absence of an official action on the part of both entities, should one consider some other form of action. And, without exhausting both of those avenues, it gives the appearance that something more than the penalties provided therein are wanted.

Respectfully,

Jim Follis
