Breaking News: Echelon Project Delayed
Boyd Gaming is delaying construction on its new hotel/casino on the Strip. The decision to stop work on Echelon Place comes after lower than expected profits last quarter, and a slow down in the gaming industry. Keith Smith of Boyd Gaming says "While we remain enthusiastic about the long-term prospects for the Las Vegas market and Echelon, this is the right decision for our company at this time."
