Combination of things has cut into the decline of silver strike machines at the casinos....a few are that IGT is no longer in the silver strike business. They owned the machines and helped with the production of the strikes through the mints that made them. The rising price of silver had alot to do with it too. The casinos that are continuing on with the program have dedicated, intelligent slot managers that know how to run the program. The Four Queens, Binion's, and the Palms are all very aggressive and successful. Sam's Town and Planet Hollywood also have machines are seem to be happy too.
