Re: Silver Strikes Machines
Combination of things has cut into the decline of silver strike machines at the casinos....a few are that IGT is no longer in the silver strike business. They owned the machines and helped with the production of the strikes through the mints that made them. The rising price of silver had alot to do with it too. The casinos that are continuing on with the program have dedicated, intelligent slot managers that know how to run the program. The Four Queens, Binion's, and the Palms are all very aggressive and successful. Sam's Town and Planet Hollywood also have machines are seem to be happy too. It will be interesting to see what happens in the future....Let me know if you would like to join the Silver Strikers Club...I will send you an application. We have lots of fun playing the machines, trading and meeting at the casinos when new strikes come out (which includes a full pound of silver $200 strike. Four Queens, Binion's and the Palms are all coming out with a new one next week). Please let me know if you have any other questions and I will try to get them answered for you....Jim Munding, Silver Strikers Club Secretary....
