Re: Here is my thinking

I am a newbie here but I have been selling on Ebay for awhile. I don't sell alot but I have fun doing it, maybe that is the problem, it is not a business for me. I think that in a way they are both a little wrong. First when I am selling and an item sells for 30.00 and I only expected $10, I would cover and put insurance on it myself, hey I made way more than I thought. If I know an item is going for over a certain amount, say $25.00 then I would add insurance on to the postage charge and state that in the auction... Postage includes insurance. So yes the seller should have insisted on insurance over a certain amount. But... The buyer should never purchase an amount such as $80 without forking over 2 or 3 dollars for insurance. So I think they are both a little in the wrong here, perhaps they can both give a little and reach a compromise. I enjoy this board too much to have it become a battle ground. Thats just my opinion, thanks for reading it. Rodney
