"If you read the invoice below you will see you did not elect to buy the optional insurance. You sent a money order for $82.50 not $83.70. $4.70 for insured shipping to Canada is a bargain. Not sure why you did not take the insurance.
My ebay auctions state I do not ship outside the US. The reason is because so many international orders get lost.
I am fair also but will not send you the chips for free. If you can think of a fair deal for both of us let me know."
I did ask him to either substitute the chips(he regularly sells the same chips) or refund the money and...if the chips did come in I would gladly return them.
Now,when I check out this member's feedback,I notice that, although his feedback is high, that he has had several negs all relating to similar problems INCLUDING one from another club member! Basically the attitude is "tough"
When I asked him if he would ship to Canada he said yes. Now all of a sudden the excuses are coming.
He is well known to the club and I hate to do this, but I did want to settle this as gentleman.
My reply to his email went this way:
So now you are laying the "I did not request insurance" thing on me? And now telling me that you do not ship out of the country? Oh this is sweet.
I am appalled by your total lack of care on this ****(his name). I have checked your feedback and all your negatives have the same undertone.
I have never had an order go missing from the USA in over 20 years of doing business, and with this letter coming with this attitude, I now wonder if it was ever sent at all now
As a fellow club member I find this to be unacceptable behavior and you should be ashamed of yourself.
You want my money that bad? Take it. Enjoy it.
