Which, I believe, has been ruled 'fair usage' by the courts. I'm not going to justify it, I'm just going to say I won't spend $100 for 6 pages. So far, I've purchased all of my chips guides and catalogs. I use them for reference, a lot. Just as I'm not going to pop $200 for the Scott's Rest-of-World Catalog when I only collect the tiny islands of the Netherland Antilles (I can Xerox the few pages at the Library), I'm not going to pop anything near $100 when the only thing left in Nevada I collect is SS Rex, Eldorado (LV), and Horseshoe, and I've got most of the chips I want already. If the TCR came out in several volumes, each of which was about $40 or $50, I'd buy the one with the Horseshoe, SS Rex, and Eldorado. But, I'm not in a position to spend more than that for a catalog.

And, I don't consider myself a thief, although I've been known to pick up a $1 chip on the floor of a casino and, if no one was around to return it to, I popped it into my pocket and I didn't take it to the cage. I've also found a $5 bill on the sidewalk and didn't turn it in to the police. However, in the same breath, I'll say that when my son found a wallet in the hotel at which we were staying in Toronto, which contained $1200, we DID take it the front desk. Give me a break...... How many people can say they've never used a pencil or pen or pad of paper from work? Would you REALLY consider THAT stealing to the same degree as mugging some one or stealing a car. Get Real.

The current Chip Rack is about 400 pages. I would expect with all the new LE's it would be 600 pages. If it sells for $100, I'd be happy to send David a check for $0.17 for each page I copy, maybe more, since I actually know him. Or, I might just ask him for permission to copy 6 pages. I wouldn't, as Gene mentioned he knew someone who copied the whole thing. THAT I consider stealing.
