I know the Sky Line (two words) chips are in the TCR as being attributed to the Skyline in Henderson. I also know that Campiglia & Wells suggest that they are not from Henderson and may have been used in California. I have found the chips in Reno and in the a small town down in the California Central Valley. In fact the antique store in California had a bunch of the $5 chips. Most recently I picked up this $25 chip at a bottle show. The dealer had just a few chips said he had talked to a person who had been a dealer in the early days at the Skyline in Henderson and claimed that these chips were indeed used there. I know that the old I know someone who knows someone doesn't prove squat but I was just wondering if anyone has found anything that is sort of reliable on these chips?

In any event this is a very cool looking chip. I love black hot stamps and the gold inserts are just too much. Are there any other chips with gold inserts?
