There are still 3 places to get cheap food that is decent if not fancy in LV. Binnions deli serves a decent quick meal, Ellis Island still has very good food either in the cafe or in front (for ribs and chicken) and Wild Wild West has great big breakfasts for about $2.49 and their dinner specials are good also. In fact it is one of the few places where I have never had a bad meal or service. Just don't stay in the rooms
