I came across an older, multi-pane post card of Las Vegas. Made by Desert Supply Co. of Las Vegas, it has "14 Views in Natural Color" of Downtown Las Vegas. Other than looking at the pictures, I'm not sure how to date post cards. The code number is: D11584 Curteichcolor Art-Creation.

In looking at this picture, I believe that the Simon Building is right there on the corner! (On the right.) The sign appears to say, "Melodie Lane" on the top part and "Restaurant" on the bottom part, but I could be reading into the fuzzyness of the picture. I would really like to be able to read the lettering on the second floor windows. Without zooming in, the reflective lettering looks like lighting fixtures in this view.

BTW (Pam) - For the article (which is now with Allan Anderson) I used your aerial view postcard to show the Simon Building. I came across this one just this morning and don't want to make a change.
