Last week we were all informed about the sad news about Greg Susong being diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Today is the 15th Anniversary of Jim Valvano's speech on ESPN when he received the Arthur Ashe Award and announced his foundation, The Jimmy V Foundation. On the MIke and Mike show they are having auctions for various items and I had an idea.

Here is what I want to do with the clubs help. Any member who wants to donate any items can do so and we can have an auction and take all the proceeds and donate them to the Jimmy V Foundation in the name of the CC & GTCC and Greg Susong.

What we need is someone who is willing to accept the donations, whether it is one $1 chip or any other items (every liitle bit helps), document the items and set up the auction. Anyone who is interested either post here or email me.

With all the animosity and bad blood that has happened on this board lets remeber that first and foremost we are here for one reason, because we love to collect casino memorabilia. Lets also not forget that The Chip Board is here because of Greg Susong and this is the least we can do for him. I consider Greg a friend as most people here do. He is gracious and generous with his time. Lets give something back.
