Truthfully, I'm sorry I even saw the posting, or mentioned his being in the CC>CC, and especially editorializing about whether a long-standing chipper should know the difference between a real and a fake. Because that's just such a subjective statement that it can't possibly be proven; and, knowing that regulars on Chipboard don't know about most of the (replicas, knockoffs, fakes, or whatever you want to call them) that get commissioned over here, doubly so.
I feel like I've done Charles a disservice by even saying something like that, without the benefit of at least bringing it to his attention first. I really don't know whether he knew before hand or not. If he did and he tried to pass it off anyway, then he's a bad chipper and he deserves disdain. But I should've asked him first since I made that statement, though I didn't know who he was just by his member number and I don't have an eBay account to try to contact him via email there. In any case, it pains me to see yet another "war" go on between the two boards like this.
