Im sorry if the good doctor took offense to my comment, but it does not change my opinion. I checked his other chip auctions, and he is NO NEWCOMER to chip collecting and obviously knows a valuable chip from one which isnt. He is selling a 2nd issue Tropicana $25 that he clearly claims there were only 200 ever made??? If this is such a rare valuable chip, how did I buy the same issue chip only two months ago for $13, and have the seller repost another, and another after that?

I hope he doesnt base that info on James Campiglia's 3rd price guide showing that chip to be a R-5 meaning 76-150 known SURVIVORS, and even that price guide was printed BEFORE the known Tropicana hoard release, which most club members are well aware of. Many dealers got the short end when the "rare" 3rd issue chips were dumped in mass into a unexpecting market, and now cant get more than 20 percent of what they paid for them.
