I've been comped (room & food) at the Mirage several times. Last year when I asked to be comped for the convention they told me that they would comp the room but not food. They increased the average bets needed for both food and room.

This year I received an email from my Mirage host asking what he could do for me. I told him 4 nights room and food (plus VIP sign in --- they have great chocolate coverd strawberries!!). The host said no problem. I thought that odd as I had not increased my betting.

In the past 2 weeks I have gotten invitations from the Mirage for airfare & room at the Golden Strike in Tennessee and, today, I received airfare & roon at Beau Rivage.

As I said, I think the Mirage is in trouble
