Re: Chatters prefer a downtown convention location

Well all things being equal I have a few places I would like to see the convention. I'd keep it in LV, I've been to some of the other towns and this is the best of the group for tourists. Now this is a pie-in-the-sky list given that it will either be:

a - cost problematic, they would probably not want to even discuss this with us

b - space problematic, the place may or may not have the necessary resources for us

Venetian - I like this place. The rooms are great and there are plenty of them. Its not nearly as expensive as you'd think, especially these days. They treat their customers well, and the location is outstanding.

Silverton - If you've never visited this place you should. It's great. Very clean, comfortable, great people and they take care of their players, easy to get to, plenty of parking. And they are expanding - a new tower and new floor space

Downtown - I guess Nugget is really the only choice and probably the best. But this still provides plenty of choices for people of all income levels.

Sam's Town - yes, I know its out of the way but its a nice place that's got room and not too expensive
