It is important to note that a year or so ago eBay made a new rule prohibiting sellers from saying in their auction description (and even in private emails, I think) that they only accept non-credit card-funded PayPal payments (that is, from the buyer's PayPal balance, a PayPal eCheck or a PayPal Instant Transfer -- the latter two being bank transfers). Sellers with Personal PayPal accounts can not accept credit card-funded PayPal receipts, and PayPal earns no fees the other three types of payments the Personal PayPal accounts can accept, thus the rule change......
Recently eBay --in its attempt to control the world and stem it's stock from declining even more-- said that PayPal must be offered on all auctions (eBay owns PayPal) except for those of sellers that have been eBay members before a certain date (something like 2007).
