A great July 4th to everyone. A question. When did the convention of red, white and blue chips become the basic colors of poker chips? Did old ivory chips use the same colors? Many countries besides the USA have these colors in their flag...Britain and France for example. Did they have the same color scheme in their old poker chips, or is this just an American thing? Also, the saddle cloth colors for the first three numbers at the race track is red, white and blue. Do other countries do the same in horse racing?
