Aaron the ones I bought from Tarl
In Response To: Digging for History ()

wont be cleaned. I saw they clean up pretty well and look great but I feel these are "dig" chips and I want to preserve them as that and then I would like to buy Pop's non dig chips as a collectable and actually bought one from David Spragg's website in 5.00 denom. His price was the best on the web! I see them as two different set of chips and to have the cement on them is a bit of history attached and I choose to leave it on them. I have seen Dennis' cleaned chips and that looks great too. Its an indivduals choice really. I would love to buy one as a chunk of cement with chips sticking out but I am not sure how much more will be allowed to surface. What if the owner scheduled a dig time and each person paid say 100.00 for the priviledge to dig for 4 hours or so. Be fun and like digging for gold you may find a deep vein full of 25.00 and 5.00 chips. I hope more can be dug up, time will tell. The excitement is good for the hobby but ome must wonder how many other great chips are sitting under casinos right now ??

I do plan on cleaning one of the tokens just as an experiment but the chips and other tokens remain cement fused
