Well she meant well but it turns out that the only chips she had were two Holiday Reno $1.00's,two tokens from the Comstock in Reno and a very cool Stardust Aku Aku lucky token. No charge...so no complaints.
Nice to get out of that smog in California caused by the forest fires. Pretty poor air quality most of the morning.
Hopefully I will be home tomorrow evening so that I can get my convention scans posted.
Too bad about that posting at Nevada Landing. Maybe someone in the club could seek permission to dig for a day with a bunch of members, with the stipulation that a percentage of the finds could go to the Gold Strike for them to use as they wish? It could make for a nice outing for members in the area. We did have a mayor at the banquet. Maybe he could pull some strings? Seems a shame that all of those chips and chunks are sitting there doing nothing.
