Advice that came from the late Jeff "The Diceman" Laudeman...

If you have dice that are crystallizing, give them a light coating of clear nail lacquer (carefully dab around logos, don't use long brush strokes). Just coat one side at a time, with a very long drying time between sides. It will often prevent further crystallizing, and will keep them from crumbling to dust when you touch them.

Do NOT use nail polish on dice that are 'imploding' or smell like vinegar...all you end up with is permanently 'sticky' dice sad . (I tried it to see what would happen, on some 'junk' dice...so no loss).

Also, Jeff recommended using a crayon to color in faded logos. I'm not sure that I personally 'approve' of that...kind of like a repaired chip sad ...but you can color in the logo with chalk for scanning, then brush it away later.

BTW...good luck in your campaign for club secretary grin your love of the hobby and the club are obvious!
