Sounds like an ugly Hard Rock chip that I picked up at HR during the 2001 convention. I'm home now and lemme tell you, the beverage service around here sucks! The beer's better but can a guy get a gin and tonic sometime this week?

So the title of this post reflects that I'm bankrolled for convention next year! Always took to heart that old gambler logic that you should always be in action because "You could be walking around lucky and not know it!" I'd start pretty early to see if this was a lucky day. Won in Ely the first day and at Jerry's Nugget on the way over to the Riv. I like to hit S. Wynn up for auction ammo and he complied on Friday morning. Won over at that dopey P_ssycat Doll pit at Ceasars. Just seemed like I was doing well at the tables for sure. Keep a $ clip in one pocket for 21 and a $ clip in the other pocket for chips. Last day of the convention the chip clip is empty and usually the 21 clip is pretty thin. Went up to Reno and did well at the tables there too. Good thing as I didn't have one worthwhile story from the tables/dealers/players to add to my experiences. Oh well.

Got home and just to get ready for the inevitable "How'd you do?" questions, I counted down my casino bankroll. Thumbing through a folded wad of uncirculated twenties was tough because they were so new that they wouldn't easily seperate, I discovered that when I did seperated them out, most of the bills weren't even twenties at all but in fact a bunch of stupid hundies! Oh. Final count showed I'd won back every dollar I'd spent out of my chip fund. Oh.
