As a relative "newbie" to the Chip Board I continue to be impressed by the incredible knowledge, talents and efforts of the stalwarts at this page. Quite apart from Mr Susong and others who do and have done so much, there are a number of you who have made my time here so enjoyable and rewarding. David Spragg is one of the people at the top of my list. Thank you David for all you have done and this thread is just another example of the esteem in which you are held. Kudos for this auction.

Others who have made this site such a pleasure for me include Gene Trimble and the ever-affable Jim Follis, but my praise for them and others can wait for another day because this thread is about David Spragg who, once again, makes the chip collecting community a better place.

I wish I could have been able to arrange my first-ever attendance at the convention but that will have to wait. I checked out the web-cam from time to time and wished I could have been there. In the future I look forward to meeting so many of you. (I'm resisting an ill-advised urge to start listing the names of other legends of the board here, that is for another day).

Again, thanks David for all you do, and many more years of happy chipping.
