when I moved back from Las Vegas. There was an incident that day at the airport and I was REQUIRED to check in all my bags. After about 10 minutes of the security staff checking out my chips I was told they wouldnt be allowed on the plane with me and had to be checked in. Well, when I arrived to Florida all my bags were there except one, you guessed it my bag with the chips. My reply from the airline was casino chips are just like currency and are not covered by the airline (America West) It took a while but I replaced most of them. Sorry for your loss though Fred.
