I'm not sure why you think my support or lack thereof is important here, but for the record, I think it is WAY too premature to back any candidate. (Didn't we all just fly home within the last few days?) I am not planning on running for any position on the BOD even though several members of the club who were encouraging me to do so.

I think the question was simple and fair. Was I the only one that got the e-mail because the OTY ballots were late? If so, thanks for informing just me. Seriously, though, I think it illustrates a valid concern and that's why I asked.

I know you and I have had our differnces that go back to your post on the club board with regards to running for the Membership position. I know you have finally apologized to Sunday and that is something I was glad to hear. If you would have done so a bit sooner, we might have avoided some harsh words and you might not assume that my post is "out to get you" as I think maybe you are.

The thing is, that's all over now. My concern is for the Club and I get worried handling Secretary in addition to the other positions might over tax any enthusiastic volunteer, even one who seems to have as much time as you do. I was wondering if you had thought ahead to that real possibility and had plans. Heck, I might even volunteer to pick up running the OTY awards if you need to drop something should you win.
