When I got my little Panasonic LZ5 camera I found the print in the owner's manual(5x7 format) so small that it was difficult to read, even with my reading glasses. I went to the Panasonic website, downloaded the PDF of the manual, and printed a 8.5 x 11 version that I can actually read.
Almost all manufacturers have PDF downloads of their product manuals available on their website.
Since I am thinking of upgrading to the Panasonic FZ50, I downloaded the manual to look at it ahead of time.
Unfortunately, the yahoos at Panasonic made the PDF for the FZ50 as a 7 x 5 format on a 8.5 x 11 page, and I could find no way blow up the image and print it full page with Adobe Reader.
A friend clued me in to Foxit Reader(available as a free download) which will blow up the PDF image to fill the full 8.5 x 11 page.
