I found the notice inside the case when unpacking in LV. The lock was not damaged and nothing was missing as far as I could tell. I don't usually check bags with collectibles in them but decided to take my Hi-denom tokens to trade (5 pounds of them!). Only two collectors looked at my token traders at the convention but I did trade one $5 token.
