Fred - My guess is that some uninformed TSA agent opened your luggage when your bag was scanned, saw the chips, and removed them thinking you were not allowed to take them from the casinos. Sad. It may be worth a call to the airport to see if they still have them. I'm headed to Vegas tomorrow and will be sure to carry my chips. Good luck.
