Hi Rich, Well If a pool and a short stroll to your room with good food (seafood is great) is what you want then the Atlantis is what your looking for. The pool is attached to casino and enclosed doom over it. But don't take the Motor lodge room it's detached from the casino it an old small hotel they brought and converted or tried to make into part of the ATLANTIS in the back the the parking lot (very bad) Take a tower room. Dolphin tower is my favorite It's still getting cold at night just had some friends return. My all time Favorite The Peppermill but is so large now it a long trip to the rooms now and I'm now sure if the pool is back up and running yet. I don't think the Eldorado, Silver legacy have a pool and the Circus circus has very poor rooms. A trip to Virginia city is a must 45 min drive from Reno and Carson City is another place to see but the traffic now can be compared to a large city but lots of historical stuff to see. There is a small coin shop in Reno on second street two blocks west from virginia street. The owner is into chips you might find a chip your looking for. Have a safe trip I hope this helps.
