Maybe this has been posted before but I haven't seen it. Caesars Palace started using a new rack of oversize chips in the high-limit room a few weeks ago. The are on the CP Baccarat mold and are ovesize of course. Denominations are 5, 20, 25, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, and 25,000, at least that I saw. They are in use on all the hi-limit table games including blackjack. The high denominations at least are machine sensing, but I understand only one table is currently set up for that. There's no evidence in the appearance that they are machine readable.
Interesting to see both a 20 and a 25 in the rack. 20 is only on baccarat table of course. There is no O/S dollar chip.
The 500 is white again, like the 500 from two generations ago. The 25,000 is not orange but blue!
All chips in play are in nice conditin, but hou have to look hard to find one that doesn't have a little edge sheen on the surface. I have a few of the 20, 25, and 100 to trade. Forgot to get 5's, but will probably get across the street again before I leave to pick up a few.
