Re: PayPal-- new bad rules if you sell internation
Just a suggestion but what I have done in the past to deal with international shipping issues to other countries that are not pay pal protected is that I offer to ship to other countries but only with USPS Priority shipping. It is insured (with a limit- I would have to check) and can be insured for more. The cost of shipping is significantly higher than First Class International and you can add a hefty shipping and handling fee or just use a ridiculously high shipping rate to Countries outside the protected area. The high shipping costs will cause most not to consider buying. I have had more than my share of issues with pay pal and international shipping issues but I have not lost money on anything that I required priority shipping on- just the first class. One other problem with priority shipping, if you are going to insure it, you have to disclose the value so often the buyer will be hit with taxes or customs fees on the other end so your listing will have to disclose that they are responsible for those fees.
