Yes. Of course... and I agree. I should have noted that many of the units are being abused by virtually anyone looking for a comfort ride in a shopping mall, supermarket or sporting event (or just about anywhere else a simple wheel chair can easilly be used).

I am in favor of those who need to use one should be able to with a proper permit (such as disabled parking permits are issued; to prevent others who do not need them from using them. In fact, I'm in favor of more disabled parking spaces that there are now). I see way too many lazy people simply jumping on one in the supemarket when they do not need to... There should be permits to drive them indoors; such as I mentioned above.
