I often bid less if PayPal isn't offered. I refuse to bid or bid substantially less if they only accept money orders, since those are inconvenient and can be expensive. I will bid if they accept checks, but I'm not happy because I know the lag time before the check arrives and before most sellers ship will be magnified. I like PayPal because I have an electronic record of the transaction that will satisfy eBay & PayPal (as well as my credit card company, if needed) and because I know payment will arrive right away and the seller can mail the item the next day. As a seller myself, I am willing to pay the fee for speed, convenience, and checks that don't bounce, and I appreciate other sellers who do the same.

For international transactions, I will not bid if PayPal is not accepted.
