Re: I Have a Hard Time.....
In Response To: I Have a Hard Time..... ()

Jerry...I think that if the machines are programmed to give action flops, then they will have more players in the hands and get higher over all rakes. They aren't doing anything illegal....they are simply causing action. Hey...I have played this format and I have won on it and lost on it...just like any other format BUT...I have known many quality brick and mortar players who play well in casinos and at our card club, who suffer some amazing and consistent bad beats despite starting with quality hands and the tales they tell are all the same.Maybe it is a combination of too many clowns paying to see the flop.
Despite what another member thinks...I am quite aware of the odds of Aces getting cracked, but that was really not my point. What I meant(and I used aces as an example)was that if you had aces that they were probably not as safe as they would be in a regular game. Maybe this "computer" game brings out more fish than a BAM game brings. I regularly watch when I am out at the local casinos just to pass some time while waiting to play in tournaments and the boards usually come up with action flops. Have seen many quads and several straight flushes. That is just what I have seen when I was there. The stories coming from my friends who play regularly will back me up. The casino operator who is a good friend of one of our club's founders, has told him that these machines are geared for action.
