I will be heading to the Convention early on Thursday morning June 5th and will be on the road until returning home on July 1st or 2nd. Below is my itenerary:

Day 1 - Terra Haute, Indiana - just getting as far West as possible on the first day.
Day 2 - Kansas City, MO - Harrahs
Day 3 - Colorado Springs, Colorado (Pikes Peak)
Day 4 - Monument Valley, Arizona
Day 5 - Grand Canyon, Arizona
Day 6 - Las Vegas - Harrahs
Day 7 - Las Vegas - Harrahs
Day 8 - San Diego - Harrahs Rincon - US Open Golf Tournament
Day 9 - San Diego - Harrahs Rincon - See Tiger Woods
Day 10- San Diego - Harrahs Rincon - Tiger in position to win
Day 11- Las Vegas - Harrahs - arrive late night after Tiger wins US Open
Day 12- Las Vegas - Harrahs - Doug's auctions - get some nice chips !!!
Day 13- Las Vegas - Harrahs - Greg's getogether at the Palms - see all my friends !!!
Day 14- Las vegas - Harrahs - set up exhibit, Early Bird Banquet - a little surprise!!
Day 15- Las Vegas - Harrahs - Convention begins - Poker Tournament at Binions
Day 16- Las Vegas - Riviera - Convention continues - Club Auction.
Day 17- Las Vegas - Riviera - End of another great Convention
Day 18- Phoenix, Arizona - Harrahs Ak Chin
DAY 19- Somewhere in Texas heading East
Day 20- Still in Texas - its a BIG PLACE.
Day 21- New Orleans, La - Harrahs
Day 22- Biloxi, Ms - Grand Casino(owned by Harrahs)
Day 23- Biloxi, Ms - Grand Casino
Day 24- Tunica, Ms - Harrahs
Day 25- Tunica, Ms - Harrahs
Day 26- Heading home - might stop and see John Zoesch in Nashville
Day 27- Somewhere in Virginia
Day 28- Home - Just in time to get ready for the 4th of July

I'm comped at all the Harrahs along the way - so I hope this will off-set the gas price. I also got a new vehichle for the trip that gets a lot better gas mileage than by BIG van used to get. Naturally I'll be harvesting roulettes along the way and picking up some new slot cards

By middle son Damian(age 38) will be with me the first 10 days of the trip. He has never been out West or to Las Vegas, so I plan on showing him a lot of things along the way to California. He will be flying home from San Diego on Friday the 13th of June. Geez, I hope he is not superstitious !!!
